Who Funds the Services?

For eligible individuals, supported employment services in Colorado are funded through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). The entirety of authorized DVR services are covered for those who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and/or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). However, DVR will still fund the full or partial cost of services for those who do not receive benefits. Colorado Medicaid's Supported Living Services (SLS) and Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waivers also fund supported employment services. Both DVR and Medicaid funding are limited by policy, so they often work together to cover all costs of service.

*Aspire only performs services authorized through DVR or Case Management Agencies (CMAs), which means that clients will never receive an invoice from Aspire.
